The Bella Team

Following years of success in home construction in Cleveland, OH, Paul Bella, the founder of Bella Builders, Inc., brought his expertise and knowledge to SW Florida in 1980.

Originally from Britain, Michael O’Brien has over 40 years experience in residential and commercial construction from all over the world. Michael is still involved in the construction industry in Europe and brings this unique and extensive award winning experience to Bella.

Paul Bella’s son, Greg, joined the team in 1990 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Greg, as project manager, oversees the running of Bella’s projects including the planning and design phase.

Our chief Site Supervisor, Earl ‘Pete’ Peterson has been with Bella since 1986. Before working with Bella, Pete worked extensively in the New York area, where he gained the skills and knowledge that he now uses with Bella. Pete continually visits all our construction sites to ensure quality control, and help maintain Bella’s high quality standards.

With comprehensive legal experience, Jonathan Duffy is involved in many aspects of the business, from ensuring our construction contracts are fair and reasonable to investigating possible new Bella projects.

Bella is fortunate to have a highly skilled in-house draftsman. Jim Arcadi has been part of the team since 1998, and his responsibilities including creating all the drawings for Bella’s homes using state of the art computer aided design software.

In 1988, Alice Schroeder joined the company as the Bookkeeper. Alice is now in charge of all aspects of the accounts, continuing Bella’s tradition of excellence to the accounting process.

Peter Carameta’s broad range of skills makes him an invaluable part of the Bella construction team. He works on all the Bella sites to make sure that all jobs are finished in a timely manner without compromising quality.

Brenda Kelley joined the team in 2005 and has been working as the lead sales person in our model home. Brenda brings with her over 20 years experience in new home sales.

Camille Gucciardo started with Bella in 2006 and is specializing in offering our clients general real estate services. With over a decade of experience Camille can attend to any need our clients have with the management or sale of their Bella home.
